Rob has been in the financial services industry since graduating from Newcastle University in 2003. From there he worked within the Zurich Advice Network before teaming up with Martin Hirst Financial Consultancy in 2005. At only 34 years of age, Rob attained the highest qualification from the industry‘s examining body. He is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society (by examination) and he holds the prestigious title of Chartered Financial Planner. Rob is the highest qualified adviser at Martin Hirst Financial Consultancy.

Rob is able to give advice on all aspects of financial planning but he is much sought after to give advice in the area of investment and retirement planning. He combines the need to fully understand a client's needs and objectives by spending time getting to know the client with the ability to meet those needs through his expertise and knowledge. This approach allows Rob to find the right financial solution for a client and this is something that he prides himself on.

Away from work, Rob is married to Nicola and is father to Jack, Ava and Joshua. He is a lover of all sports, making regular visits to the home of Liverpool FC or walking the fairways of Sand Moor Golf Club where he is a member. Rob enjoys socialising with friends and family and enjoys to travel. He has a Second Class Honours, upper division (2:1) degree in Music from Newcastle University.
